As regular visitors to the site will have realised, it’s a busy time at First Word. We’ve released a host of new artists and a smattering of releases from some old favourites and we guess it must be pretty hard to keep up. With that in mind we thought it would make sense to give our fans a taster of everything that’s going on at FW in one tidy package, and thus Two Syllables Volume Seven was born! Oh, and we’ve made it free. So click here to pick up 12 tracks summing up the last few months at First Word. There’s tracks from Homecut, Souleance, Herma Puma, Debian Blak, Lotek, Frameworks, Yosi Horikawa, Border Crossing and LeaLea Jones, as well as a couple of tracks from the Konektiv Elements compilation and a kidkanevil reflip of a Jesse Futerman track courtesy of Jus Like Music. Phew! Anyway, click here to get your copy and please spread the word!

There are a couple of other great new releases out since our last update – this week we have the fantastic Lotek Remix EP featuring mixes from Warrior One, Andy H and Lotek himself (listen below) and last week was the explosive debut single from LeaLea Jones. The video for lead track AK47 was premiered on Okay Player – check it out below, and click here to have a listen to the B-side featuring the legendary Horace Andy (yes, that Horace Andy!). More newness coming soon – enjoy!
