6ix Toys
6ix Toys are the 7 piece funk monster currently based and gigging out of Liverpool. Their debut single, the infectious Prodigy cover ‘Voodoo People’ was released back in 2008, with their eponymous debut album following soon after. 2009 saw the band cement their position as one of the best live funk bands in Europe, blowing away audiences across the continent. They ended the year with a second single, this time enrolling DJ pioneer Greg Wilson on remix duties, re-editing album favourite ‘Paint The Toon’ into the disco stomper ‘Sisters of Soul, Brothers of Funk’. Currently working on album #2, the band have just released a new single, this time lending their distinctive party funk style to Bassment Jaxx classic ‘Do Your Thing’.
