Eliphino

The mysterious Eliphino has been on the First Word radar for a while, self-releasing his debut album ‘Out Of Phase’ back in 2005. His early work had echoes of Pete Rock, Dilla, Four Tet and Madlib, but the last year has seen Eliph rapidly develop a style all of his own. With releases forthcoming on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood imprint and Manchester-based Hoya Hoya, he is definitely one to watch.
