Last weekend was Record Store Day! Now at FWHQ, we like to think that every day is record store day.. To celebrate we put together a very special release of our own for the big day – Nothing Leaves The House. 

The record contains four tracks that celebrate our love for record digging, sample chopping and the simple love of a dope beat. This  video gives you a taste of what went on (and lets you check out Mr Thing’s record collection!), and you can check out the audio right Here

To pick up your copy, head down to your local Record Store. If you didn’t manage to make it down to a store in time we will have limited numbers available from our web shop in a week’s time.

As some of you may know, we’ve been cooking up a release for Record Store Day this year – and now is the time to announce a few of the details. Check out the video by clicking the image above and you can get a small insight into how we put it together. It’s called ‘Nothing Leaves The House’ and features First Word’s own Tall Black Guy and kidkanevil as well as Mr Thing and Eric Lau. Full details of the release and a short film will follow in the coming weeks, but for now, check the video and make sure you get down to your local Record Store on April 19th to pick up your copy. This release is vinyl only, and is strictly limited to 1000 units, so get on it!
